Information Provided by our Employer Clients and Partners
TrueConfirm works with a variety of clients to provide them with employment and income verification services. To provide these services, TrueConfirm clients may send us summary employment and income information on their employees (consumers). If you are a current or former employee of one of our employer clients, we may have employment and income data that pertains to your work history with that employer.

Verification Services: We disclose employment and income information to authorized third parties verifiers who have a permissible purpose to obtain said information under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Verification disclosures are consistent with our employer client and partner contracts and only to provide services you request, as necessary to comply with the law, and/or as otherwise permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Vendors and Service Providers: To assist us in meeting operational needs and to perform certain services and functions, we may provide Personal Information to vendors and service providers, including providers of hosting services, cloud services, communication services, and other information technology services providers. These parties will access, process, or store Personal Information only while providing their services to us.

Legal Requirements: TrueConfirm may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose personal information or other information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business Transfers: If we are involved in strategic transactions, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or transition of service to another provider, your Personal Information may be disclosed in the diligence process with counterparties and others assisting with the Transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that Transaction along with other assets.

We’ll retain your Personal Information for only as long as we need to provide our Service to you, our employer clients, partners, or for other legitimate business purposes. How long we retain Personal Information will depend on many factors, such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and any legal requirements.

If you are a current or former employee of a TrueConfirm employer client, you can exercise some of these rights through your TrueConfirm Employee user account. If you are unable to exercise your rights through your account, please send your Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) to dsar@trueconfirm.com.
To protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, change, or deletion, we may require you to verify your identity before you can submit a request to know, correct, or delete Personal Information. If you do not have an account with us, or if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity, we may ask you to provide additional Personal Information and proof of residency for verification.
Under certain circumstances TrueConfirm may not be able to fulfill a data subject access request (DSAR), as it may interfere with our regulatory obligations, it affects legal matters, we cannot verify your identity, or it involves disproportionate cost or effort. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and provide an explanation.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
TrueConfirm’s services are not designed to serve or attract children. Accordingly, we do not solicit or knowingly collect any personal information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age. If we are made aware that information is or has been submitted by or collected from a child younger than 13, we will remove their personal information of what actions we can undertake.

TrueConfirm is committed to the security and privacy of the personally identifiable information we house. We leverage multiple security controls to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data we process. TrueConfirm strives to meet and exceed the strictest security standards and frameworks. We utilize best practices to protect information at rest and in transit to and from TrueConfirm.
We recognize that no system or network is guaranteed to be completely secure, and thus we have mechanisms in place to address any possible breach in accordance with best practices and requirements by applicable laws.
